The Local Business Directory uses essential session technology and provides a choice about optional analytics for the future. We do not currently load optional analytics scripts through this consent component. This policy must be checked against the full inventory of any scripts actually installed before launch.

Essential session cookie

Our PHP application uses a session cookie to keep form sessions, security tokens and essential website functionality working. It is a first-party, HTTP-only session cookie, configured with SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. This is essential to the operation of the site.

Consent preference storage

We store your cookie preference in your browser's local storage under bluk.cookieChoices.v1. This records whether you permitted optional analytics and when your preference was set. It is not used for advertising. Clearing your browser's storage may cause the preference panel to appear again.

Optional analytics and third-party services

If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies, they must be disclosed and blocked until appropriate consent is provided. External websites opened through links on directory profiles, and embedded services such as maps or payments when activated, may operate their own technologies and privacy notices.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie preferences or the footer link at any time. You can accept all available categories, reject optional use or save a custom choice. Essential session functionality remains active.
